WTO revised its forecasts for the global GDP and trade, in view of international sanctions

The World Trade Organization in its new report has reduced the forecast for global GDP growth in 2022 to 2.8%, from the previous 4.1%, and for the volume of global trade to 3%, from the former 4.7%. The decline in GDP in the CIS region is projected at 7.9%, while imports to the region are expected to decline by 12%.
