Shopping malls are asking to revise their taxes in conditions of falling turnover

The Russian Council of Shopping Centers has come up with a proposal to change the tax system for shopping centers. The Council explained this by saying that the revenue and profitability of the industry are decreasing, while the fees are not. They proposed, in particular, to calculate the property tax and land tax as a percentage of the turnover of enterprises, as well as to set an upper limit for those taxes.
