Russian Customs temporarily stops publishing statistics on exports and imports

Against the backdrop of international sanctions, the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation decided to temporarily suspend the publication of statistics on exports and imports. The decision was announced by the head of the service Vladimir Bulavin. Among the reasons for this, he cited “the avoidance of misinterpretations, speculations and inconsistencies in terms of import deliveries”. The last time foreign trade statistics were made public in Russia was for January data.
