Parameters of the preferential mortgage program changed to support housing demand

Prime minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree on changing the parameters of preferential mortgages: starting from April 1, it will be issued at a rate of up to 12%. According to prime minister, the maximum loan amount under this preferential program will be increased for 3 months: up to 12 million rubles for Moscow, St. Petersburg, the Moscow Region and the Leningrad Region, up to 6 million rubles for other regions of Russia. Rates on family (6%), rural (3%) and Far Eastern (2%) mortgages will be kept at the current level.
