IKEA to resume sales in Russia after setting up supply logistics

IKEA is looking for opportunities to return to the Russian market after setting up supply logistics to provide a full range of goods, a similar situation has developed with Inditex (the portfolio of brands includes interior Zara Home), said Viktor Evtukhov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade.

Earlier on April 20, Inditex CEO Oscar Garcia Maceiras said that the Spanish chain of stores expects to resume operations in Russia when possible. At the beginning of March, IKEA employees in Russia were sent on paid leave until May 31, now some employees report that their paid leave has been extended until August 31.
