Hilding Anders to continue investing in their Russian subsidiary company Askona

Against the backdrop of the exit from the market of a number of foreign companies in the field of home goods, Askona together with Swedish concern Hilding Anders, a controlling stake of which belongs to the American KKR, continue the investment program.

Until the end of 2022, Hilding Anders is going to invest 193.5 million rubles in Askona. The funds will be used to modernize and increase production capacity, as well as for launching a new production facilities and expanding Askona’s product range. For the modernization carried out in the Q1 2022, 136 million rubles were allocated by Hilding Anders, while the amount of capital costs amounted to 264.5 million rubles.

The Hilding Anders concern owns 73% of Askona shares and strategically aims to develop the sleep products market in Russia together with their Russian partner company.
